Gangelt (dpa / lnw) – The fire brigade in Gangelt (Heinsberg district) went on a larger mission on Wednesday afternoon. Several trucks from a forwarding company caught fire there, the fire brigade said. Residents have been asked to keep doors and windows closed, turn off ventilation and air conditioning, and avoid the affected area in Birgden. The district of Heinsberg warned at the same time of odor nuisance and smoke precipitation. Health impairments could not be ruled out, it said. Nothing was initially known about the cause of the fire and any injuries.
