Sundern (dpa / lnw) – A scooter driver was seriously injured in a wildlife accident in the Hochsauerland district. According to the police, the 64-year-old was driving his scooter on a country road near Sundern on Sunday evening when a deer suddenly ran onto the road. He fell in the collision and suffered serious injuries, police said on Monday. A driver of a following vehicle alerted the emergency services. The deer died in the accident.
