Grabow (dpa/mv) – The public prosecutor’s office in Schwerin has applied for an arrest warrant for the 30-year-old woman, who is said to have attacked and injured her ex-boyfriend with a knife in Grabow (Ludwigslust-Parchim) on Wednesday.
The woman is accused of dangerous bodily harm and attempted aggravated robbery, a police spokesman said on Thursday. The dispute in the victim’s apartment is said to have been about money claims from the woman. A district court is to decide on the arrest application.
According to the police, the woman and another man gained access to the apartment and fled after the knife attack. A friend of the injured person called the police. The 30-year-old was caught later on Wednesday in Rastow near Schwerin, about 30 kilometers away.
The ex-boyfriend was so badly injured in the incident that he was taken to a clinic. The cuts on his arms and legs were treated there and the man was said to be able to walk again.
It is not known whether the woman has commented on the allegations. Perpetrators and victims are known to the police because of drug offenses and bodily harm. However, no drugs were found.
