Oschatz (dpa/sn) – The leak in a boiler of an energy company in Oschatz (Northern Saxony district) triggered an action by the fire brigade and police on Thursday morning. Due to the escaping gas, a large cloud of gas formed around 6 a.m., which spread in the direction of Zöschau, as the police announced in the morning. The emergency services informed the residents to keep doors and windows closed. The leak was quickly repaired and there was no longer any danger later in the morning.
