The Rastro and Embajadores areas of Madrid host the San Cayetano festivities for another year. In this 2023 edition, different sports, cultural and religious activities will take place.
The program of activities on the occasion of the San Cayetano festivities is already underway, although its main activities are concentrated on the days of this Friday, August 4 and Saturday 5.
The official start will take place this Friday with the official proclamation of the Madrid City Council Fire Department in the Plaza del General Vara del Rey at 9:00 p.m.
On the other hand, the procession in honor of San Cayatano will take place on Monday, August 7, the day of his saints, at 8:00 p.m. It starts from the Church of San Cayetano itself on Calle de Embajadores number 15 and will be the last official act of 2023.
After the San Cayetano festivities, Madrid will also be filled with participatory celebrations and parties through its streets in the following weeks. Thus, from August 9 to 12 the festivities of San Lorenzo will take place.
Some festive days that will be completed with the festivities of La Paloma. An extensive program of activities will fill the streets and squares of Madrid from August 11 to 15.
