Langen (dpa/lhe) – In the case of the 84-year-old woman and her dog found dead on a high-speed railway line in Langen in southern Hesse, the police assume an accident. Both the woman and the dog died when they were hit by a train, a police spokesman in Offenbach said on Friday. The 84-year-old had been searched for since Wednesday evening before she was found on Thursday afternoon. There is no evidence of suicide, it said. The police are still investigating the circumstances of the death.
