Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – After a long time with hardly any precipitation, the rain is back in parts of the country: According to the German Weather Service (DWD), continuous rain with up to 30 liters per square meter is pattering on the dry soil, especially in the south and east of Baden-Württemberg . A spokesman for the DWD announced on Friday that stormy quantities of up to 60 liters per square meter are also possible in the Allgäu.
But the rain doesn’t last long. Showers and thunderstorms are still threatening from west to east on Saturday. The temperatures are therefore up to 27 degrees on the Rhine and 19 degrees in the mountains. According to the meteorologists, the weather on Sunday is only cloudy and partly windy with occasional strong gusts. The temperatures remain similarly high. Only isolated rain is ready on Monday. In the Black Forest, temperatures will rise to 21 degrees and up to 28 degrees in the north-east of the country. According to the forecast, the clouds will also decrease again.
