Fürth (dpa / lby) – Defender Marco Meyerhöfer has returned to team training at SpVgg Greuther Fürth after more than four months. The Franconian second division soccer club informed about the comeback of its right-back on Wednesday evening. Meyerhöfer sustained a serious ankle injury in the Bundesliga game against Frankfurt in April. At that time, the 26-year-old collapsed after a duel and was carried away on a stretcher. When Meyerhöfer can appear again for Fürth remains open.
