Sankt Augustin (dpa / lnw) – The police in Sankt Augustin broke up an illegal rave party under a motorway in the nature reserve. First, civilian officials determined on Sunday evening: They found out that in the protected Siegauen systems for light and music were set up and entry was required, as the police in the Rhein-Sieg district announced on Monday.
Then word got around among the 200 or so revelers that the police were nearby – and the guests disappeared. When uniformed officials arrived on Sunday evening, the organizers were in the process of loading the technical equipment. Six suspects were identified. Proceedings for administrative offenses and criminal proceedings await them.
