This drug deal gets completely out of hand: A 21-year-old from the Coburg district goes to Munich to buy, is seriously injured and dies. Days later, a young suspect turned himself in and two others were arrested – not without attempts by 20 men to free them.
After the killing of a 21-year-old in Munich in a drug deal, the police arrested three young suspects. A 17-year-old turned himself in and a 16-year-old was arrested at his parents’ home, police said. When the third suspect, a 16-year-old, was arrested on the street on Wednesday evening, 20 young men tried to free him.
The 16-year-old initially resisted his arrest and was fixed and tied up, it said. On the way to the police car, he tried to escape. The others then wanted to free him and also used pepper spray. Three police officers were slightly injured. The liberation of the suspect was not successful, the men ran away, it was said. Five of them were later arrested.
The killed 21-year-old from the Coburg district drove to Munich-Riem on Saturday with an acquaintance – according to the current investigation status, to buy drugs. The two met three young men at a subway station. The later victim and one of the men went into an apartment where a dispute broke out, as the police announced on Monday.
The 21-year-old then returned to his friend with serious injuries and collapsed. He died in a clinic on Sunday. Extensive investigations by the homicide squad led to the three suspects who have now been arrested. The 17-year-old, who turned himself in, was released from custody, the police said. The two 16-year-olds should be presented to the competent investigating judge.
