Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – After the alleged double rape of a refugee Ukrainian in Düsseldorf, the trial against two men begins this Wednesday (10 a.m.). Two 27- and 38-year-old refugees who were accommodated with the woman on a hotel ship on the Rhine are accused.
The 18-year-old fled to Düsseldorf after Russia attacked Ukraine. There the two men are said to have attacked them one after the other in their cabin on March 6th. The two accused face imprisonment and deportation.
According to the authorities, there were 88 people on the ship at the time, 26 of whom were refugees. The rest were hotel guests. The two men were arrested on the evening of the incident. According to the district court, they have so far remained silent on the allegations.
