Jena (dpa/th) – The Executive Board of the Jenoptik Group will report on the first half of the 2022 financial year in Jena on Wednesday. The military technology business is likely to play a role for the last time. At the end of June, the East German technology group announced that it had parted with the entire military technology division with around 700 employees. The sale, which was announced in November 2021, is therefore complete. The division, which is combined under the umbrella brand Vincorion, went to a fund of the British financial investor Star Capital Partnership.

It now remains to be seen whether the Jenoptik Group was able to continue the positive trend of the first quarter with double-digit growth in sales and earnings. For the current fiscal year, the board of directors is aiming for an overall increase in sales of 20 percent.
