Rostock (dpa/mv) – The Rostock Seawolves have made further progress in their squad planning for the first season in the basketball Bundesliga. As the club announced, the promoted team extended the contract with Stefan Ilzhöfer by two years until the summer of 2024. The 27-year-old is the eleventh player with whom the Mecklenburgers will go to the BBL. “He’s incredibly important for us, especially defensively,” said coach Christian Held, adding: “Most fans probably don’t notice it in that form offensively, but Stefan has an incredibly important part in our system. He fights and always gives all.”
