Obermaiselstein (dpa / lby) – A paraglider pilot crashed in the Allgäu and was seriously injured. A rescue helicopter took the 28-year-old to the hospital, the police said on Friday. It was initially unclear why he crashed at the Riedberg Pass near Obermaiselstein (Oberallgäu district).
A waiting tourist fretted about the roadblock that had been put in place for the helicopter after Thursday’s accident. He also hindered the police officers in rescuing the pilot and insulted the injured and the police officers. He is now awaiting a report.
