Ruhstorf an der Rott (dpa / lby) – Despite having his driver’s license revoked and under the influence of drugs, a man drove a car near Ruhstorf an der Rott in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau. As the police announced on Wednesday, the 32-year-old caught the eye of federal police officials on Tuesday afternoon who were carrying out checks on the border with Austria.
After the 32-year-old was unable to provide a driver’s license, he initially claimed that he had lost the document. Upon inspection, officers found that his driver’s license had been revoked more than ten years ago. According to the information, the police officers also found a “drug-typical abnormality”. A drug test revealed that the 32-year-old was under the influence of cannabis. Officials ordered a blood test for further investigation.
