Bansin (dpa/mv) – A motorcyclist on the island of Usedom was seriously injured in a collision with a car on Tuesday. As a police spokesman said, the 64-year-old driver near Bansin should have overlooked the oncoming biker’s right of way. The driver turned left on Landesstraße 266, the 28-year-old motorcyclist drove into the passenger side of the sports car. According to the information, the biker from the island was taken to a clinic by rescue helicopter, and the holidaymakers in the car were not injured on the outside. Both vehicles had to be towed. On the main connection between the imperial baths and the center of the island, there were occasional traffic jams when traffic was heavy.
