Beckum (dpa / lnw) – 30 pigeons were stolen from an allotment garden in Beckum (Warendorf district). The unknown thieves gained access to the allotment in the night from Wednesday to Thursday and took the animals away. The owner noticed the ringed pigeons were missing Thursday morning, a police spokeswoman said Tuesday. The thieves are also being searched for on social media. The police in Beckum are now hoping for information on the perpetrator or perpetrators who may have used a car to transport the animals. “It’s not so easy to take 30 pigeons with you,” said the police spokeswoman.
