Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) – The 51-year-old from Bielefeld, who informed the police by emergency call that he had killed his wife, is in custody. A magistrate ordered the detention because of the urgent suspicion of manslaughter, police and prosecutors said on Tuesday. According to the information, the autopsy of the body confirmed the assumption that the 49-year-old woman from Bielefeld bled to death as a result of cuts and stab wounds. After the call on Sunday morning, emergency services found the wife’s body in the house they shared. According to earlier information, the suspect was arrested without resistance.
