Köthen (dpa/sa) – An 82-year-old driver died in a traffic accident near Köthen (Anhalt-Bitterfeld district). For reasons that have not yet been clarified, he collided with his car on Friday afternoon with a truck, the police said on Saturday. The man died at the scene of the accident. The 43-year-old truck driver was reportedly not injured. Due to the force of the impact in the accident, vehicle parts detached and flew around. A car driving behind the truck was damaged as a result. The accident caused damage to the three vehicles totaling 45,000 euros.
