Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – Nuremberg airport boss Michael Hupe is to remain in office for another five years. The supervisory board led by the Bavarian Finance Minister Albert Füracker (CSU) extended the airport manager’s contract on Friday until October 2028. This means that Hupe’s work in the two Corona years, the successful development of the airport with five years of profit in a row and the course for networking will be set the region after the pandemic, the airport company announced. Hupe came to Nuremberg in 2013 after positions at the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, at Frankfurt Airport and as head of Dresden Airport.
