At the beginning of the 80s they were cult: the “Supernasen films” with Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger. Around 40 years later, RTL is now celebrating the anniversary of the series with the two entertainers – on television, but also on the radio.

In addition to the date, the first details about the show and the supporting program have already been set. The program will be recorded on August 16 with an audience in Berlin’s Admiralspalast. Gottschalk and Krüger would be celebrated with a “party with music from back then, great promotions and many surprise guests,” according to RTL.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the “Supernasen” film series, there will also be a documentary and a radio show on TV. After the anniversary, the documentary “Mein Papa, die Supernase!” will be shown from 11 p.m. shown. In it, the entertainer’s son Roman Gottschalk illuminates the cult surrounding the “Supernasen” films from his point of view. Father and son will also act together in front of the camera for the first time.

It has been four decades since the first of four “Supernasen” films entered the cinemas. Gottschalk and Krüger, who also wrote the screenplay, started a real success story in 1982 with “Pirate Station Powerplay”. This was followed by “The Super Noses” (1983), “Two Noses Refuel Super” (1984) and “The Beginners” (1985). With the four films, the duo inspired almost ten million cinema-goers at the time.

In addition to the two main actors, stars such as Evelyn Hamann, Katja Flint, Dagmar Berghoff, Anja Kruse and Udo Kier were also seen in the strips – and in three different roles also Gottschalk’s wife Thea Gottschalk.
