Jena (dpa/th) – Will the boom in software for online trading continue? That’s what the half-year balance of the Thuringian software provider Intershop is about on Wednesday in Jena. The management board of the listed company presents business figures.

In the first quarter, Intershop had generated a sales increase of four percent to 9.2 million euros. However, earnings before interest and taxes fell compared to the same period last year. Nevertheless, the Management Board stuck to the forecast for this year. An increase in sales of around ten percent and an operating result of at least one million euros are expected. Almost 300 IT specialists are employed.
