Essen (dpa / lnw) – People in North Rhine-Westphalia can expect significantly cooler weather on Tuesday. Especially in the middle and in the north of the federal state, the sky remains cloudy all day, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Tuesday morning in Essen. Except for the south, sunny sections are therefore only short-lived, and there are one or two rain showers. The maximum temperatures are between 22 and 24 degrees, on the Kahler Asten at 16 degrees. From the Sauerland via East Westphalia to the Münsterland, the DWD expected individual strong gusts.

In the night to Wednesday there is mostly no precipitation and it cools down to 13 to 10 degrees. According to the meteorologists, a mix of sun and clouds will determine the weather on Wednesday, and it will remain dry. The maximum temperatures are between 21 and 23 degrees.
