Müchel (dpa/sa) – Children from financially weak families from the Saalekreis district can look forward to an eventful holiday week. After the opening of the twelfth summer camp on Monday in the Müchelen district of Wünsch, there is a colorful program for the eight to twelve year olds until Friday. According to the district administration, the summer camp of the district and the local alliance for families is aimed at up to 30 disadvantaged children. During the camp they should meet peers from other parts of the county, have adventures, have fun and leave fears and worries behind.
The camp project, which has existed since 2010, is supported by various partners. It is held annually at different locations. This year’s summer camp is hosted by the Wunscher Landhof, whose sponsoring association has specialized in the implementation of children’s projects.
