Munich (dpa / lby) – TSV 1860 Munich wants to present itself right at the start of the season in the 3rd football league as a favorite for promotion. “We are looking forward to the fact that we have created pressure. This pressure should inspire us,” said “Löwen” coach Michael Köllner before the difficult start of the league at Dynamo Dresden on Saturday (2:00 p.m.).

After two fourth places at the end of the season, Munich’s longing for more is enormous. “We need the maximum performance. And in the end also the necessary luck,” said Köllner. With a win against the second division relegated team, TSV wants to set the first exclamation mark. “A hot fight awaits us in Dresden in an atmospheric stadium. It’s finally starting again.”

Jo Boyamba (25), one of the nine newcomers, will be missing from Munich in Saxony. According to media reports, the midfielder is suffering from thigh problems. “I hope it’s not too dramatic. He’s an important player for us,” said Köllner.
