Offenbach (dpa/sa) – After a record heat day, storms are brewing in parts of Saxony-Anhalt. The German Weather Service (DWD) warned of severe thunderstorms on Thursday. The Altmark district and the districts of Börde and Stendal are particularly affected. According to the DWD, the thunderstorms can also lead to lightning strikes and stronger gusts of wind.
