Murnau (dpa / lby) – In Murnau am Staffelsee in Upper Bavaria (Garmisch-Partenkirchen district), a 38-year-old is said to have attacked his opponent with an ax during a dispute. As the police reported on Wednesday, the 54-year-old man was only slightly injured. An arrest warrant was issued against the younger man, who was heavily intoxicated when he committed the crime, for attempted manslaughter.
The argument had already begun on Monday evening in a front yard. According to the police, the 54-year-old was injured in the neck by the ax. The victim then left the crime scene, but the 38-year-old followed him and made another attack with a knife. However, the 54-year-old was able to fend off this.
