Sinsheim (dpa / lsw) – After a woman’s body was found in a car near Sinsheim (Rhein-Neckar district), a suspect was arrested. This was announced by the police and the public prosecutor’s office on Wednesday. An arrest warrant was issued for the man on suspicion of murder. The body of the 64-year-old was discovered in a car on the edge of an industrial area at the end of June. It has not yet been announced how the woman died. There was also no information on the age of the murder suspect, who was arrested on Tuesday morning and is now in custody.
Investigators have been searching the victim’s home in Sinsheim since Tuesday and securing traces there. The Mannheim police had formed a 69-strong special commission to investigate the alleged violent crime.
