Heppenheim (dpa/lhe) – At least twelve people were injured in a fire in an apartment building in Heppenheim (Bergstrasse district) early Monday morning. The residents were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation, police said. There is no danger to life. The fire broke out in the apartment of a 73-year-old, who was also among the injured. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage was still unclear according to the police in the early morning.
