A 21-year-old was the only bidder in the foreclosure sale of Bushido’s former villa. But where do the millions come from with which the son of a clan boss pays? Several public prosecutors are examining the sale.
After the foreclosure of the million-dollar former property of rapper Bushido and a clan boss, the Bochum public prosecutor’s office is investigating on suspicion of money laundering. An investigation had been initiated against a person from Oer-Erkenschwick, said senior public prosecutor Jan Oelbermann on request. It will be checked whether money from criminal offenses was used to buy the property in Kleinmachnow, Brandenburg.
Brandenburg prosecutors are also examining the case. The real estate once belonged to the rapper Bushido and the Berlin clan Arafat Abou-Chaker. In mid-June, the property was foreclosed on at the Potsdam district court. The villa ensemble and the plots with a total area of ??more than 16,600 square meters were auctioned off at the Potsdam district court for around 7.4 million euros. The only bidder was a 21-year-old son of the clan boss. The market value of the property was estimated at 14.8 million euros. The 21-year-old’s bid was the minimum amount that had to be bid.
The background to the auction is the separation of the former business partners. Since 2020, the Berlin Regional Court has also been involved in a criminal case – with Bushido, bourgeois Anis Mohamed Ferchichi, as a joint plaintiff and witness. Arafat Abou-Chaker and three brothers of the clan boss are accused. The charges are deprivation of liberty, attempted aggravated extortion, coercion, dangerous bodily harm, insult and infidelity.
