Essen (dpa / lnw) – The sun rarely comes out in North Rhine-Westphalia at the weekend. For Saturday, the German Weather Service (DWD) expects temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees and a moderate north-west wind with changing to heavy clouds. Scattered light showers are possible in the north-east of the country. In the night to Sunday there will be mostly no precipitation. The lows drop to 9 degrees, in the higher mountains up to 7 degrees, the DWD explained.
According to the DWD, on Sunday it will be cloudy to overcast with temperatures of 18 degrees in East Westphalia and 21 degrees on the Rhine, and it may rain again in some cases. A moderate wind comes from the northwest and sometimes brings strong gusts. On Monday it will be friendlier, at least in the second half of the day: the sky will clear up and the values ??will rise to up to 25 degrees with weak to moderate wind.
