Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) – A 68-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident on Autobahn 5 near Frankfurt am Main. According to the police, the trigger was the contact between a truck and a car near the exit to Autobahn 66 on Friday. The car, which was driving in an exit lane, was then thrown onto the main lane of the A5, where it collided with the motorcyclist. He fell and sustained fatal injuries. Autobahn 5 had to be completely closed, resulting in a kilometer-long traffic jam.
