In April 2021 Willi Herren died at the age of only 45. His widow Jasmin mourns for a long time, but is now ready to return to the place where she and Willi once met: the Ballermann. After five years of abstinence, the singer celebrates her comeback there.
It’s been a little over a year since Ballermann icon and reality star Willi Herren died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of just 45. In addition to his children, his wife Jasmine, from whom he lived separately at the time, also stayed behind. A difficult time began for her, but now she finally wants to face the present again. For this, the 43-year-old is drawn back to the place where she met Willi Herren: the Ballermann.
“God is now giving me my old life back,” said the singer before her first appearance in five years in an interview with RTL. In the “Oberbayern” club she created a good atmosphere last night. However, this trip and the gig cost her a lot of strength, as she explained afterwards. “Of course I was still in my mourning phase in the last few months, so I haven’t been out of it that long.” Even now there are still moments when it breaks over them.
“I already had pee in my eyes,” she admitted in an interview with RTL, but she was also happy to be back. Because despite Willi Herren’s tragic death, life should finally go on for his widow, and that includes Ballermann. After all, she lived here for 15 years and performed regularly during this time.
Her deceased husband is always with her in her thoughts and heart anyway: “Willi would now say: ‘You know what, honey ?! You’re doing it! Go out there and show what a gentleman is!'” is Jasmin Herren sure.
In an interview with the “Bild” newspaper, she also said: “I’m very happy that I have nothing to do with the people who were false friends for my husband and had a false influence. It was always before It’s very exhausting for me to bite that away, but in the end I associate Mallorca with positive things.” And so yesterday’s performance will probably not have been her last in this place.
