Bochum (dpa / lnw) – In a hardening shop in Bochum, metal chips caught fire in a filter system. Around 60 emergency services are on site, the fire brigade reported on Thursday evening. It is difficult to use because the filter system is at a great height and scaffolding has to be set up first. There is currently no smoke development. Nevertheless, the residents were asked “purely as a precaution” to keep doors and windows closed because of possible odor nuisance. There are no injuries.
