Three people died in a crash on the A9, Scottish Highlands.
At 11:40 on Tuesday, an air ambulance was dispatched by the Air Ambulance to the scene of the three-vehicle accident at Slochd Summit. Four people were transported to the hospital.
According to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, three fire engines and other specialist resources were dispatched to the scene.
The road was closed until 21:30, with divertissements in place.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said that three people died in a crash on the A9 near Slochd Summit.
“Inquiries continue to determine the full circumstances of this collision.”
