Haan (dpa / lnw) – After the warehouse fire in Haan near Düsseldorf last Thursday, the investigations continue. The investigations are extremely difficult due to the “massive damage”, said the Mettmann police on Tuesday. The amount of damage caused is estimated at one to two million euros.
The fire broke out in several warehouses in Haan last Thursday morning. More than 180 firefighters fought the blaze. The materials stored there, such as plastic granulate and paint, caused a cloud of smoke that was visible from afar. After more than 16 hours of operation, the fire was extinguished. According to the fire department, no one was injured.
