Officers are searching for a naked man who approached several women at a North Yorkshire stately house.

North Yorkshire Police claimed that he approached three women in Newby Hall’s gardens, Ripon at around 15:40 BST Thursday.

The incident took place in the attraction’s woodland walk. The man was described as being white, between 40-50 years old, and with a “slight beer stomach”.

He measured between 6ft-6ft 2in tall and had medium build with dark brown hair.

The force wanted to know if anyone had visited Newby Hall that day and could provide any useful information.
