Saxony-Anhalt: Administration building: Harz district orders masks compulsory

Halberstadt (dpa/sa) – In view of the increasing number of corona infections, masks have to be worn again in the office buildings of the Harz district. The mask requirement applies to employees and visitors from this Wednesday, as a spokesman for the district announced on Monday. “It’s about the protection of employees and visitors as well as the ability of the district administration to work,” explained District Administrator Thomas Balcerowski (CDU). In the previous week, 1136 positive corona test results were reported to the health department. The seven-day incidence was 556 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week, 94 higher than in the previous week.
