Schwerin (dpa/mv) – Autobahn 24 is to be completely closed for one hour on Wednesday. “In the period from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the lanes will be closed in both directions between the Wittenburg and Zarrentin exits. The reason for this is the dismantling of a medium-voltage overhead line,” said network operator Wemag on Monday in Schwerin. The line was replaced by an underground cable and is therefore no longer necessary. According to Wemag, the A24 will be closed by a service provider commissioned for this purpose. The Autobahnmeisterei in Hagenow confirmed the plans.
