Ravensburg (dpa/lsw) – Two women were seriously injured in a car when they collided with a police car on Saturday near Immenstaad (Bodenseekreis). According to the information, the patrol car was driving on federal highway 31 from Friedrichshafen in the direction of Immenstaad when it collided with a car at the junction with state highway 207 that was trying to turn in the direction of Kluftern. The 69-year-old driver and her 74-year-old companion came to hospitals with rescue helicopters, according to the Ravensburg police headquarters.
After the collision, the police car also crashed into a minibus that was waiting next to the B31 due to traffic. Its occupants were unharmed, it said. The 24 and 26-year-old officers from the Friedrichshafen police station suffered minor injuries and were treated as outpatients in the hospital.
According to the information, the responsible public prosecutor’s office in Ravensburg ordered that an independent accident expert be consulted.
