Gerlingen (dpa / lsw) – In a fire in an apartment building in the district of Ludwigsburg, four people were seriously injured and 16 were slightly injured. The fire broke out on Thursday evening in the attic of the building, the police said. A man was still in the attic when the fire brigade arrived and was rescued with the help of a turntable ladder. The fire brigade was then able to start extinguishing the fire and bring the fire under control. The four seriously injured were taken to hospitals, and the other injured were treated on site. The property damage is estimated by the police in six figures. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
