Schwerin (dpa/mv) – Around 155,000 schoolchildren in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania will receive their certificates on Friday. After the report day, the six-week summer vacation begins. For the approximately 34,000 vocational students in the state, the holidays begin a week later, the Ministry of Education in Schwerin announced on Thursday.
“The students can be proud of the results they have achieved under special learning conditions,” said Minister of Education Simone Oldenburg (left). Despite the corona pandemic, the school year was mainly able to take place in person.
For children, young people and their parents who need a sympathetic ear or advice, the reference phone has been on since Monday. There they will receive professional psychological advice until Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
