Biebesheim am Rhein (dpa/lhe) – A drunk driver was caught sleeping in front of a traffic light in Biebesheim am Rhein in southern Hesse. On the night of Thursday, a driver became aware of the car that was conspicuously long, the police said. An advanced patrol discovered the 28-year-old man sleeping soundly in his driver’s seat. Shortly thereafter, the man woke up and opened his driver’s door. The emergency services determined a value of 2.6 per thousand in a breath alcohol test. The man also did not have a valid driver’s license. He is now being investigated for drunk driving and driving without a license.
