Monheim (dpa / lby) – A man in Swabia sits at the dentist while around 30 emergency services make their way to his car because they assume a serious accident. The driver apparently accidentally triggered the automatic emergency call assistant in his new car before entering the practice, as the police reported on Wednesday.

The integrated control center sent 30 rescue workers from two fire departments on Tuesday to the location of the car in Monheim (Donau-Ries district), which was transmitted by the so-called eCall system. During their investigations, the rescuers then found out that the man was at the dentist’s and had probably unintentionally activated the alarm. The man survived the visit to the dentist safely, a police spokesman said.
