Freising (dpa / lby) – A 63-year-old attacked a seller in a bakery and injured his face. The man got angry because the rolls he wanted were no longer there early Monday evening, the police said on Tuesday. The grandfather had come to the bakery in Freising with his grandson. When the saleswoman told him that the rolls were no longer available, he became angry and aggressive towards her. Another employee asked the man to leave, which the 63-year-old did not do.

The clerk stepped in front of the counter, whereupon the man hit him in the face with his fist. Only another bakery guest was able to end the fight that had ensued. The employee suffered a bloody nose and scratches on his face. The grandfather was taken to the hospital – the severity of his injuries is not known.
