Dortmund (dpa / lnw) – The Federal Police checked a man with a swastika painted on his sleeping bag at Dortmund Central Station. According to their information, a passer-by drew the police’s attention to the 56-year-old on Sunday morning, who was standing opposite a shop at the station with his sleeping bag. He stated to the officials that a stranger probably drew the unconstitutional symbol and that he had not noticed anything about it.
The emergency services asked the man, who was already known to the police, to remove the symbol or to make it unrecognizable, as it was also said. So far he has not complied. The federal police initiated an investigation into the use of unconstitutional license plates against the 56-year-old. He had already appeared in the past for sedition, the police said.
