Balzhausen (dpa/lby) – A man was trapped and seriously injured in Swabia when loading a piece of equipment weighing several tons. The 61-year-old wanted to transport the work machine to a truck with helpers using several lift trucks, as the police said on Sunday. The machine slipped off the trucks – the man was trapped between the 1.5-ton device and a hall door in Balzhausen (Günzburg district). The five helpers present were able to free the man. After the incident on Saturday, he was taken to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
