Bavaria: 13-year-old hit and killed by semitrailer

Kollnburg (dpa / lby) – When crossing a street in Lower Bavaria, a 13-year-old was hit by a semitrailer and died. As the police announced, the boy went on a hike with his parents on Tuesday. When he ran across a district road behind a truck in the municipality of Kollnburg (Regen district), he reportedly overlooked a semi-trailer truck driving on the opposite lane. The 13-year-old was caught and remained under the vehicle. A witness, two police officers and rescue workers tried in vain to resuscitate the boy.
