Munich (dpa / lby) – At Corpus Christi and the end of the holiday, the General German Automobile Club (ADAC) warned of traffic jams on Bavaria’s roads. Because of the holiday, for many the weekend begins on Thursday. At the same time, the Pentecost vacationers returned when school started, the ADAC announced on Monday in Munich. The two-week Pentecost holidays in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg end on Sunday.

According to the ADAC, return traffic will reach its peak on Saturday. The heavy traffic will also make itself felt in neighboring countries – waiting times at the Bavarian border crossings are to be expected upon entry.
