According to the Ministry of the Interior on Sunday, 18.43% participated in the first round of the legislative election. This is a decrease of 0.8 points from 2017, when it was 19.24%.

The turnout has also fallen sharply since the 2022 presidential election. It was at 25.48% by noon. It is also lower that the 21.06% recorded for the 2012 legislative elections.

However, participation is higher than the 2021 noon regional and departmental elections (12.22%). It is however equivalent to the turnout in 2020 municipal elections (18.38%).

Lot was the department with the highest number of Sunday noon votes (27.8%), followed by Jura (25.69%), Cantal (26.35%), Jura (25.19%), Gers (24.86%) and Jura (25.69%). Paris is home to 9.85% of the population in Seine-Saint-Denis and 12.12% in Val-de-Marne. 12.26% are residents in Paris.

At 5 p.m., the Ministry of the Interior will release the new participation figures.
